  1. Fishers of Men started their ministry in the village of San Ignacio with wood turning and Karate. The men from the church made bowls and cups for their homes. The men from San Ignacio will continue with regular wood turning classes.
One of the favorite activities for the children is karate. Forty children participated in 3 nights of karate classes. Each child had the opportunity to break boards and receive a special medal.
The ladies from the church were involved in making flower arrangements and craft classes.
The group also provided dresses for many of the young girls in the church.
Vacation Bible School was provided for San Ignacio and Oscano.

Fishers of Men shared a very special ministry with the village of San Ignacio this year. Pastor Tim who is blind and ministers to the blind visited many homes in the village. Pastor Tim and Alex were able to share tape recorders and Bible tapes for the blind.

One of the most important ministries that Fishers of Men is involved in takes place every Saturday morning at the church in San Ignacio. Fifty children are fed a nutritious meal and shown Gods love. This minstry touches children and families, and more importantly opens the door for the gospel to be shared.
