Bunn Baptist Church....Bunn, N.C.......July 12-22

The youth from Bunn Baptist Church built the walls for two additional rooms. These rooms will be used for Sunday School classrooms and storage. The ladies from Bunn taught a sewing class. They taught the ladies from the village of San Ignacio how to make pillows for their home.

VBS and Bible study was also provided in San Ignacio and the village of Oscano.

First Baptist Church...Pageland, S.C. July 9-17

First Baptist Pageland, S.C. mission team provided music lessons for the youth at San Ignacio; Painted a beautiful mural for the feeding center and helped tear down the temporary church to make room for a soccer court. They also provided VBS for the children which included clowns, balloons & soccer clinics.

Lane & Meg Wood

Many thanks to Lane & Meg Wood who joined us June 22 through July 17. Lane taught the youth guitar lessons . Before returning back to North Carolina, he surprised the kids by leaving his guitar to continue practicing. Meg helped out with the children-playing games and most importantly.....loving them!!

Pastor Alex was also honored to baptize Meg in the San Ignacio church.

First Baptist Church Houston Mission Team

The mission team from FBC Houston spent a day in the village of San Ignacio. The team provided the childrens activites, and Bible study prior to the weekly feeding center. The children enjoyed the one on one attention this large group was able to provide.
